GamesCom 2014, Sony Won and here's why

In my opinion, Sony won Gamescom without a doubt and here's why:

They revealed tons of surprised new ips such as, Wild, PT, Alienation, and Until Dawn. As well as giving us some more trailers and info for Infamous First Light, The Order 1886, Little Big Planet 3, BloodBorne, Journey, Tearaway unfolded, Rime etc. As well as some other games such as DayZ, HellBlade, The Vanishing Of Ethan Carter, Tomorrow Children, 8 compilations of indies they showed Papers Please, Dreams Fall Chapters, etc.



As well as some great multiplatform games with exclusive content, giving gamers more options and variety with games. A little multiplats with exclusive content here, a little bit of indies ,and some big exclusive titles here, etc. But we got Metal Gear Solid V Phantom Pain, Middle Earth Shadow Of Mordor, Destiny and Farcry 4. All of which look stunningly beautiful.

While as I was watching Microsoft's Gamescom press conference I noticed quite a bit of just showing games we already knew were coming already. The only "Real" big surprise to me was Tomb raider being an Xbox one exclusive instead of a multiplatform game. Everything else, not saying it was bad or anything but no big surprises at Gamescom 2014 from Microsoft other then Tomb Raider pretty much. We already knew about Halo, Sunset Overdrive, etc all those other games pretty much. If Microsoft really wants to win over the European market their going to have to do a lot more then just show us a few Xbox One bundles and Tomb Raider as an Xbox one exclusive.

So as of now Sony once again officially wins GamesCom 2014. More games, more diversity, more exclusives, more surprises, etc. Sony really did great, I give them a solid B+ if only they showed Guerrilla Games Open World RPG maybe I would of given them an A+ but sadly we didn't hopefully we will see it around E3 2015 and maybe Gamescom 2015 possibly but atlas I will have to give Microsoft  solid C- for effort pretty much, I mean they came out there and showed us some good exclusives, no real big surprises but still its was ok just not the best thing ever.
