Transistor Review

Story: The Story if your just playing by rushing through the combat, not playing with limiters, etc. Is a good 5-6 hours at the least. But if you actually play the game, not rush it, up your difficulty using limiters you will probably get a much longer enjoyment of the game. Story overall is pretty good, its about a girl named Red who finds a greatsword like weapon that she was supposed to be assassinated with. She is being hunted by a guy named Camerata is tracking her and the transistor along with his own army called the "Process". Overall I give the story a 8/10.

Gameplay: The Gameplay is very good in my opinion, especially with the ability to choose your difficulty at any moment in the game with limiters which gives you more strategic gameplay besides just rushing and hiding, if you just play with no limiters. Overall the gameplay is fun and gets a 9/10 from me.

Graphics: Artstyle is beautiful and well done for this game. overall its a 9/10

Additional Details: Sountrack is beautiful and is probably one the best things in this game, if not the turn based combat or its well done graphics. I personally love this game and is probably one of my favorite indie games right now on the PS4. It is also on PC so  I suggest if you haven't picked it up already on either platform, you go on Steam or the PSN store and get it right now. It goes on sale next week on PSN but it is certainly worth full price in my opinion.

Overall Game Score:

9.5/10
