Sony Discusses Gakai/Cloud Streaming Strategy
Senior Leaders working on services such as PlayStation Now and Gaikai cloud streaming, will show gamers how they can stream some of PlayStation's biggest titles not just from their PS4 but from their Sony HDTV, Sony smart phones, Sony Tablets, etc. Right now it is all going to happen on September 4-5 at this year's Cloud Gaming USA's conference in San Francisco.
With PlayStation Now just entering Open Beta on July 31st, making mass streaming possible for the entire PS4 install base. PS4 owners get the option to play 4 hours for samples, 7 day, 30 day or 90 day trials for their game, more options is better for consumers.
Jack Buser Senior Director at PlayStation Now and Robert Stevenson CBO and SVP Strategy Gakai will represent Sony Computer Entertainment at Cloud Gaming USA to share the most exciting developments of
streaming games across any platform. They’ll also share the history, technical anecdotes, and integration of the
Gaikai-based cloud products into a fully-featured gaming service.

My Opinions: So far September is looking very good for gamers and PlayStation alike. Cloud Streaming, Gaikai, PlayStation Now, Tokyo Game Show Conferences, Pre Tokyo Game Show Conference, Destiny release, etc. It truly starts here now, I can't wait to hear more about Sony's plan for cloud streaming. I hope we even get some more info on a subscription model for PS Now as well at this conference.
