Watch Dogs Review

Story: Story wise this game was solid but nothing too great or innovative. Your basically a hacker vigilant named Aiden Pearce who is searching for revenge of the people who killed his niece Lena Pearce. Their are tons of other side missions and activities to do in the game, such as gang hideouts, convoys, fixers, etc. Overall the story is nothing to special but it does have its moments and I will have to give this story a 7/10 overall for the story.

Gameplay: This is where it does a lot better however the gameplay is very Farcry 3ish, with smart phones/hacking and based in a more urban environment (Chicago). CToS towers reminds you of radio towers in Farcry 3, gang hideouts remind you of outposts in Farcry 3, etc. The gameplay is really similar and makes me think rather if this really needed to be a New IP or just a Farcry game like FarCry: Chicago or whatever. The driving in this game is pretty bad and annoying but didn't really effect me in a huge way. Online is very well done in my opinion, I really enjoyed hacking other people and watching them look around like fools trying to find me. Overall the gameplay was good, I give it a score of for the single player 7.5/10 and for the online 8/10.

Graphics: Its not surprised that the graphics were downgraded compared to E3's version, however the graphics were still great for an open world game and doesn't effect you as much when playing the game. Graphics in my opinion for Watch Dogs gets a solid 7/10

Additional Details: The game is a very fun game and concept of hacking to eliminate your enemies stealthily, story could of been less generic, gameplay could of been a little more innovative to separate itself from Farcry 3's gameplay, and graphics could of remained the same as the E3's version however this game is still a fun/great experience for gamers and if you were hyped for this game but not wanting to purchase it due to all the negative light it got, you should buy it right now or this week it really deserves recognition and I'm certain Ubisoft will make Watch Dogs 2 even more enjoyable if they see people really loved Watch Dogs.

Overall this game gets a score of: 8.5/10
